Privacy policy

Maison Curtis (Rue Neuve 25, 6000 Charleroi) is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

Data we collect

• Name, phone number and email address: to manage your appointment and write to you about it.
• Health or allergy note (optional, 120 characters at most): only with your explicit consent, readable by the salon’s staff only, and you can withdraw it at any time.
• Payment: the deposit is processed by Stripe. The salon never sees or keeps your card number.

Why we use it

• To carry out your appointment: booking, reminders, deposit payment, any refund.
• To meet our legal obligations, such as accounting.
• To prove your consent (the version of the document you accepted, with date and time).

We send no marketing messages without your separate consent. The messages we send are only about your appointment.

How long we keep it

• The health note is deleted after 12 months without a visit, or as soon as you withdraw your consent.
• The data of an inactive client is anonymised after 3 years.

Who receives your data

Our processors, bound by a data processing agreement: the database host (Supabase, in the European Union), Stripe (payment), our email service, the site host, Sentry (error tracking) and a cookieless analytics tool.

Cookies

We use no tracking cookies, which is why this site shows no cookie banner. Your browser’s local storage is used only for functions you ask for.

Your rights

Through the Contact page you can ask for access to your data, an export, a correction or an erasure, withdraw a consent or object to a processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels (dataprotectionauthority.be).
